Lifestyle in The USA

In the United States of America, the practice of a healthy lifestyle is vital to the maintenance of our economy. Many people who live here do not have the luxury of an automobile and the gas costs are out of control. Because of this, they spend a large amount of their time commuting back and forth to work which can be quite a pain in the neck. In addition to that, because of our focus on productivity, jobs are not being created in significant numbers. Therefore, there has been a need for more education to bridge the gap between those who cannot obtain gainful employment and those who are willing to work hard to achieve their potential.

The good news is that this influx of educational opportunities will be continuing as more people complete their schooling. However, it is important for each of us to find a way to change our lifestyle in USA. One of the best ways to do this is to stop smoking. The reason that smoking is so detrimental to a lifestyle in the United States is because millions of people light up at least 20 cigarettes per day. Furthermore, smoking can cause many health problems and a slew of diseases including cancer.

Alcohol consumption should also be curtailed. This is one vice that does not affect everyone in the same way as others. For example, some people may develop alcohol dependency while others may suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Those suffering from withdrawal symptoms typically have a depressed mental state and are susceptible to many forms of illnesses including suicide.

The third lifestyle change that should be made is to eat healthier foods. Many of the foods that we currently consume are very unhealthy and have been proven to contribute to heart disease and cancer. Therefore, those who are overweight or obese should begin to make some changes immediately.

Finally, we must acknowledge the fact that we are not living in our ancestors’ time. Although the United States of America is a very modernized country, we still suffer from a lot of heart problems and other medical issues that weren’t present in years past. Therefore, it is imperative for all of us to utilize our bodies in a healthy manner. As mentioned above, we should start to burn more calories than we consume each day. In addition, we should reduce our consumption of high fat, high sugar foods and replace them with vegetables, fruits, and nuts.

Of course, changing our lifestyle in the United States alone won’t guarantee that you will lose weight and become healthier. Many people simply don’t have the dedication to make such changes in their lifestyles.
